“Really, really nice nice property. Beautiful vegetation and rooms. Clean, classy, well appointed, but nothing you don’t need. The staff were very helpful too. “Our stay here was fantastic x the rooms are rustic but extremely comfortable. The location is great a two minute walk from the jetty so no need for transport. Darius was amazing and so welcoming have us loads of hints and tips about the island. The accommodation is attached to Dive India dive centre and a few mins walk to the beach. A great little place to stay and one we would deffo come back to.”

“The staff are outstanding and the location is beautiful. The food is very good and they have a good range of alcoholic beverages. The Settlers experience is excellent. Everything is kept very clean. Things they could improve, the villa we stayed in (12) could do with refurbishing. It is comfortable but for example the bathroom floor is slats and you can lose earrings etc through the gaps. It also creaks loudly! The only other thing is that the food delivery can be slow at times. ”

Coconut life... we reached Havelock on this morning, and after throwing our stuff down headed to the beach right across from us, impatient to get in the water. Cool sand, gentle waves, perfect water temperature, beautiful hermit crabs - I instantly fell in love with the island. We relished some tropical fruit bounty - sweet mangoes and zingy starfruit, washed down with coconut water - best beach snack!
